Seminar in Nepal brings together Pentecostal leaders interested in the Adventist faith
Nearly 100 Pentecostal leaders and pastors from different regions of Nepal took part in a 10-day seminar near Nepalgunj, motivated by the desire to learn more about Adventist beliefs. From the start they said: “We believe you have a lot of light.” In this context, a parallel could be seen with the Macedonian call in the book of Acts: “Come over to Macedonia and help us,” interpreting the meeting as an expression of spiritual searching and evidence of God's work in hearts.

During the seminar, the message of salvation by faith in Christ's sacrifice was shared, together with the presentation of God's law, including the importance of the Sabbath, as well as health principles and the relevance of the gift of prophecy for God's people. As part of the program, many copies of the book Steps to Christ were distributed in Nepali, provided by the Window for Christ ministry, and the participants received them to share in their congregations.

As a result of the seminar, eighty-four leaders expressed their acceptance of the biblical truths presented and said they wanted to share these teachings with their respective churches. Several participants also expressed interest in continuing the learning process and in extending this training to other leaders in the country.

In the face of this growing request, the cry rings out again: “Come and help us.” The materials distributed will continue carrying the message to new communities. For each of us, this invitation resounds once more: “The command, ‘Go ye into all the world,’ is not to be lost sight of. We are called to look to the far-off lands.” (DA 762.2)
