We praise God's name for the news received from Lokossa,

We praise God's name for the news received from Lokossa, a city in the Mono department in the southwest of the Republic of Benin, about 70–75 kilometers from Cotonou. This region, characterized by its cultural diversity and by communities dedicated mainly to agriculture, trade and education, was the setting of a new evangelistic initiative through the distribution of missionary books.

The distribution took place during the first outing of the Adventist Men's Organization in this part of the country, as part of their commitment to serve the community and share the Christian message. Through the “Shepherd in the City” program, participants had the opportunity to approach people and hand out literature that presents the message of hope, faith and salvation.

Every book delivered represents an opportunity for a person to learn more about God's love and the plan of salvation. These initiatives show how volunteers and church members can become instruments to take the gospel beyond the walls of the churches, reaching new places and communities.

We thank God for allowing these books to reach Lokossa and for every person who takes part in this missionary work. We pray that every copy delivered will bear abundant fruit and that many lives will be reached and transformed by the message it contains.

We keep trusting that God will open new doors so that more missionary books can reach different regions and fulfill the purpose for which they were sent.
